This is a lovely post and it resonated with me a lot, especially growing up with Robin being ubiquitous and wonderful. "That simultaneous impression of youth and age was something rare and wonderful" is a great way to put it.
I also agree on getting that same feeling seeing the trailer for the new Night at the Museum movie. Just a really heartbreaking situation all around.
